A Rare Moment

It's truly a rare moment when your oldest actually wears something you've made.
She hasn't been my biggest fan when it comes to things "c r o c h e t"
but  here lately...I catch her with a little something on like this red puff stitch hat.  Don't you think RED is her color....I think so. I also wish I could capture a moment when she has her White Pullover Sweater on that I had's so pretty on her as well.
She was so deep into her cell phone that she didn't realize that her photo was being taken. She normally runs out of the room when my camera comes out.
Ha Ha....caughtcha!
She would just die to find out not only did I take her picture but I also put it on my computer!

I hope you all are have a wonderful Sunday evening. It's been raining all day today and turning much much colder. I will be back soon to show you  what I've also been working on.

If you would like to make one of these puff stitch hat, here's where I found the PATTERN

  1. The puff hat looks great on Lauren! Thanks for the link to the pattern, Shari. I have another bunny taking shape on my knitting needles :) xx

  2. A beautiful hat for a beautiful girl. Fun pattern Shari, thanks for the link.

  3. Isn't it funny that even though our girls are stunning they still want to shy away from a camera. Your hat looks great on your daughter.

  4. Love the hat , beautiful picture of your daughter lost in thought

  5. Such a beautiful picture Shari - one to treasure.

  6. Hi Shari, Your daughter is beautiful! Yes, red is definitely a color for her! I hope you are well, I have missed talking to you for so long. I am back to blogging pretty regularly now. Turns out I was just burnt out and needed a nice long break from, well most things, even my craftiness... I know, I know... Gasp! If you get the chance please pop over to say hello. I have changed the name of my blog and of course it's look, yes, yet again, giggle!
It's very cold, sleeting and quite foggy today. Perfect weather for staying inside and being creative! I'm trying my hand at tatting now that I had that "duh" moment of, "that's how to make my own lace strips and flowers"! giggle!
