Briar Bunnies

My briar bunnies are making appearance once again. I just love these bunnies. These were made back in spring. Made from 100% cotton yarn, slightly stuffed which makes them so squishy and cuddly. I have plans for a new pair hopefully before Christmas. We will see how things go.

I've gotten myself into a mess lately with projects. I really don't like starting one without completing it before I move onto the next ( you all can relate I know) but I just can't help myself.  Blankets need to be finished, Christmas gifts need to be made, things for myself keep filling my head with thoughts and more thoughts.....Now only if there were enough hours in a day....Oh maybe! .....just maybe!  I might make it to Christmas without having a complete crochet meltdown.

But first!....I will bake.

Knitted Stripes

Do you remember way back when I first started to knit?
Well.....I finally finished my striped blanket.
After sitting in the basket for months, I thought it was high time I completed it.

Nothing special at all with this one.
Just knit and knit all the way across throughout the whole thing until it gets to a decent size. Using up scraps of yarn from previous blankets until the ball runs out. Change colors and carry on. The only thing I was undecided on was the border. I couldn't make up my mind on which way to go so it doesn't have one, as of yet.

Thanks for all the wonderful little notes you all have been leaving me lately. I so appreciate all your kindness. My email isn't working so if you haven't received a reply to your little note, please forgive me.  I've also noticed I have a few new followers, I love that you wished to join in so please make yourself Welcome and look around.

Lots of changes have been going on on the old blog. Changing layouts and headers seem to be taking place but we think we finally got it where we want it.
Trying to keep it looking simple has been my plan.

Have a lovely Sunday.

.......I've been having fun playing around with the puff stitch pattern. Actually, I am loving it!
I've already completed one pillow in  a cream color and now I am working on my second one in white.
I wonder what one would look like in bright colors....humm, just might have to see won't we!

I also would like to add that I have a little secret plan for this stitch on another project which might be a big one.
I hope you stay tune to find out what it will be!

Here is a link to the PUFF STITCH PATTERN  if you would like to try your hand with this stitch. I promise you will love it!

A Rare Moment

It's truly a rare moment when your oldest actually wears something you've made.
She hasn't been my biggest fan when it comes to things "c r o c h e t"
but  here lately...I catch her with a little something on like this red puff stitch hat.  Don't you think RED is her color....I think so. I also wish I could capture a moment when she has her White Pullover Sweater on that I had's so pretty on her as well.
She was so deep into her cell phone that she didn't realize that her photo was being taken. She normally runs out of the room when my camera comes out.
Ha Ha....caughtcha!
She would just die to find out not only did I take her picture but I also put it on my computer!

I hope you all are have a wonderful Sunday evening. It's been raining all day today and turning much much colder. I will be back soon to show you  what I've also been working on.

If you would like to make one of these puff stitch hat, here's where I found the PATTERN
